The 15th to 18th March 2018 marks the first edition of Milano Digital Week, a City of Milan - Department of Digital Transformation and Civil Services initiative offering 300 dedicated events throughout metropolitan Milan.

MUMAC is participating in the initiative with a limited-time opening on Sunday 18 March. Visit Hangar 100 to experience the LaCimbali brand firsthand at the temporary “Technology heart Human mind” exhibition, then stick around the museum to see other stimulating shows.

Featuring potent digital flavour, the exhibition uses a special blend of reality and virtual reality to tell the Cimbali story through heritage, design and innovation, technology and the senses. Visitors will be immersed in a fluid space where paper-thin screens and displays divulge a new discovery at every turn, culminating in a multi-sensory kaleidoscopic chamber conveying the indelible connection between coffee, coffee machine and the senses, the very climax in the Cimbali chronicle.

Technology heart, Human mind clearly conveys and celebrates the extraordinary harmony between technological innovations and the people behind them – people who have worked day in, day out for countless years to make history at Cimbali.

The museum will be open to the public from 2.00 to 5.30 pm for unguided visits.

A guided tour of the exhibition and museum is also scheduled for 3.30 pm.
